PST Tinnitus - Acufeni® - General Information

A rush, a ring, a chirp, a droning noise..these are but a few of the symptoms associated with Tinnitus - Acufeni - a disease characterized and described as "a ringing in the ears". In the global population, about 17% are affected, and each year, about 340.000 new cases of Tinnitus - Acufeni patients are reported in Germany alone. Those affected are constantly plagued by the "humming" noise, undoubtedly affecting their quality of life through sleep disturbances, loss of concentration, anxiety and depression, often leading to other serious problems.

PSTT was developed by the physician and biophysicist, Richard Markoll, MD PhD, during the course of 20 years of scientific research.

PST Tinnitus - Acufeni® - Causes
Tinnitus - Acufeni can have many causes!
The disturbance is not always to be found in the auditory system. Constant exposure to noise, tension, and stress, may lead to the development of a permanent ringing in the ears.

There are numerous symptoms associated with Tinnitus - Acufeni. In the past, conventional treatments have either failed to be effective, or simply failed to be therapeutic. There are a surprisingly large number of Tinnitus - Acufeni sufferers who have either a concomitant disorder of the cervical spine, or false positioning of the jaw. These individuals have an imbalance of the neck and shoulder muscles and, at the same time, increased tension in the chewing muscles of the jaw. Blockage in the head and upper cervical vertebrae is frequently associated with this problem, as well as increased pressure on the jaw (mandibular joint).
